always_direct does not do what you intend; this directive is only
meaningfull when parents and or peers are configured in squid(.conf).

To go direct from the browser-level; the problem must also be
tackled at the browser-level; by programming pac files or exclusion
settings in the relevant proxy-enabling menu's.
