This is NOT the current Squid version. The current Squid version is 2.5.STABLE10. Looks to me like you are still running the RH version and not the version you installed manually.

This said, 2.5.STABLE11 is currently under preparation fixing several (three so far) stability issues found after the 2.5.STABLE10 release and a few other minor issues. Interim patches can be found from http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.5/bugs/
