RE: Problem setting up SquidNT and NT Authentication (my problem) (and my problem solved ;) )

The binaries version of SquidNT can be downloaded here:
http://www.acmeconsulting.it/pagine/opensource/download/squid.htm

I also found the solution for the group based auth problem I was having
myself. Appearantly you need to add -G -c to the win32_check_group
program, and use a global group in stead of a local.

external_acl_type NT_global_group %LOGIN
c:/squid/libexec/win32_check_group.exe -G -c
acl LProxyUsers external NT_global_group InternetUsers
acl password proxy_auth REQUIRED
http_access allow password LProxyUsers
http_access deny all

Authentication (my problem)

whao! this sounds exactly like the 'squidNT for idiots'
solutions I had been waiting for after posting the request
three months back but got complex referrals (use cygwin,
etc, etc) instead.

If you could just give me the url for the binaries you will
have completely reduced my idiot days with squidNT...

walu.
