Hello, I've come across a problem with my squid configuration. I've installed squid on my gentoo gateway and things are working for the most part. In fact, the only problem I have is when accessing Invision Power Boards (web forums). Other forums that I visit I have absolutely no problems with, but this particular one, I get the following. Board Message Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The error returned was: Sorry, you are not permitted to use this board You are not logged in, you may log in below Your account username Your account password I know for a fact that I do have access to this board since I can log in at using my gateway computer. Has anyone ever had problems logging into Invision Power boards? If so, did you ever get it to work? My cache.log file looks like this. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Starting Squid Cache version 2.5.STABLE9 for i686-pc-linux-gnu... 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Process ID 14729 2005/05/17 07:38:44| With 1024 file descriptors available 2005/05/17 07:38:44| DNS Socket created at 0.0.0.0, port 32989, FD 5 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Adding nameserver 24.153.22.67 from /etc/resolv.conf 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Adding nameserver 24.153.23.66 from /etc/resolv.conf 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Unlinkd pipe opened on FD 11 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Swap maxSize 102400 KB, estimated 7876 objects 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Target number of buckets: 393 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Using 8192 Store buckets 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Max Mem size: 8192 KB 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Max Swap size: 102400 KB 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Local cache digest enabled; rebuild/rewrite every 3600/3600 sec 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Store logging disabled 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Rebuilding storage in /var/cache/squid (CLEAN) 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Using Least Load store dir selection 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Set Current Directory to /var/cache/squid 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Loaded Icons. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Accepting HTTP connections at 0.0.0.0, port 3128, FD 12. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Accepting ICP messages at 0.0.0.0, port 3130, FD 14. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Accepting HTCP messages on port 4827, FD 15. 005/05/17 07:38:44| WCCP Disabled. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Ready to serve requests. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Store rebuilding is 89.7% complete 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Done reading /var/cache/squid swaplog (4568 entries) 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Finished rebuilding storage from disk. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 4568 Entries scanned 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 0 Invalid entries. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 0 With invalid flags. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 4568 Objects loaded. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 0 Objects expired. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 0 Objects cancelled. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 0 Duplicate URLs purged. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| 0 Swapfile clashes avoided. 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Took 0.3 seconds (13573.7 objects/sec). 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Beginning Validation Procedure 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Completed Validation Procedure 2005/05/17 07:38:44| Validated 4568 Entries 2005/05/17 07:38:44| store_swap_size = 91352k 2005/05/17 07:38:45| storeLateRelease: released 0 objects If anyone here wants me to send them my squid.conf, please let me know.
