thanx.  i had seen this though.

what I am missing is the link/step on Cygwin approach to
compiling the squid.  I don't seem to have picked the steps
for compiling Squid using Cygwin - also I wonder which
compilation approach should provide the quickest path to
intalling Squid on Windows?

nb; I am a victim of Microsoft Plug & Play syndrome, hence
the search for the least difficult approach.
