..I have tried with in squid.conf:

http_port 127.0.0.1:3128

and in httpd.conf:

listen 127.0.0.1:80

..but when on the firewall/proxy box in the browser I use:

http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/cachemgr.cgi

I have:

ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://10.0.0.254/
The following error was encountered:
* Connection Failed
The system returned:
(111) Connection refused
The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

..however I would want in squid.conf

http_port 127.0.0.1:3128

and in httpd.conf:

listen 127.0.0.1:80

..in this mode also from another pc (and therefore not from box proxy/fw) I can approach to cache manager,
but in this mode I have:

ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: cache_object://10.0.0.254/
The following error was encountered:
Access Denied.
Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

.. but I think that I have tried all or there is other ?? :-(( ..
still thanks.

        Salvatore.
