Henrik, We sent Microsoft some packet traces showing them the problem, and here's their response. We're not running sp4 yet but in case anyone else is, they may want to try this fix to the SSL page load problem. I'll pass on any new information on this problem. Mark ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark, Thank you for the traces. I had our escalation team look over the added traces and they think they have seen this before. Please try the following and let me know the results. Be sure the clients are on windows 2000sp4 Check for the following registry value AND ADD If it is not in place HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ QFEInstalled Dword =1 Then install ms05-14 from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms05-014.mspx Once this has been done, you will want to add the following reg setting. Please try both 0 and 1 for dword value. HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings ReleaseSocketDuringAuth DWORD 0x0 or 0x1. #########, MCSE Microsoft Platforms Support ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > On Mon, 4 Apr 2005, Mark Krawec wrote: > > > We're working with someone from Microsoft platform support so I'll let > > you know if anything comes of this. > _______________________________________________________________ Mark Krawec mark@xxxxxxxxxxxxx "Earth First" (We'll strip mine the other planets later)
