I am using 2.5.stable8, and basic auth. Recently I've noticed that
when I do a /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -k reconfigure, my auth program
quits, I can tell by doing a ps aux |grep squid, and squid is still
running.
linproxy:/home/brad# /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -k reconfigure
linproxy:/home/brad# ps aux |grep squid

/usr/local/squid/etc/squid.conf
root 8866 0.0 29.3 78976 74976 ? S 16:09 0:00
/usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -s

squid 8874 0.0 0.1 1244 304 ? S 16:09 0:00 (unlinkd)

I have to kill squid and restart it, and then everything starts fine.
Does anybody else know how to cure this?
Thanks in advance,
Brad
