You should upgrade. This is a interim snapshot release, not a production release.
The above URL is causing Squid to return "Invalid Request", but there is no problem going direct.
See cache.log for more detail.
Upgrading will give a more accurate error message to the client, or may even allow the malformed response to be forwarded if you are lucky. (depends on the serverity of the web server malfunction)
