Hi all,

I apear to have mis-understood somthing here.
In 2.6.20.7 MAINTAINERS file, the sparc32 maintainer is William L. Irwin.
Is this different from an active kernel maintainer?

So use another distribution.
That said, does not the existence of
linux-image-2.6.20-1-sparc32_2.6.20-2_sparc.deb show that it
does not look not dropped?

I also want to make the point that it is absolutely unreasonable for
any user to complain about a distribution dropping a platform that has
no active kernel maintainer.

Maintaining a distribution in any is absolutely and indisputably
IMPOSSIBLE if there is no active kernel maintainer for that platform.

So folks who want distributions on sparc32 should start at the ROOT of
the problem, the lack of active kernel maintainer, instead of the
giving the distribution folks a hard time. Their hands are tied until
the sparc32 kernel maintainership issue changes.
