Hi.

I have installed the AUR [sox-dsd-git] and I can play dsf files and convert.

What I would like to do is to use the DOP option.

sox testfile.dsf -r 176.4k -p dop | play -p , this works but I can not send the output to

my soundcard hw:1,0

sox testfile.dsf -r 176.4k -t alsa hw:1,0 , works fine and play but i can not add the dop option.

tried

 sox testfile.dsf -r 176.4k -p dop | play -p -t alsa hw:1,0

play WARN alsa: can't encode 0-bit Unknown or not applicable
play FAIL formats: can't open input `hw:1,0': snd_pcm_open error: No such file or directory

tried

sox testfile.dsf -r 176.4k -p dop -t alsa hw:1,0
sox FAIL dop: this effect takes no parameters

and tried

sox testfile.dsf -r 176.4k -t alsa hw:1,0 -p dop
sox FAIL formats: can't open input `hw:1,0': snd_pcm_open error: No such file or directory

What should I do ????
