It's building for me:

sudo apt-get build-dep nginx
git clone https://github.com/nginx/nginx
cd nginx
./auto/configure --with-cc=~/smatch/cgcc
export CHECK="~/progs/smatch/devel/smatch --full-path --file-output"
make -j8
find -name \*.c.smatch -exec cat \{\} \; > smatch_warns.txt
