Hi All,

I had configured RedHat Linux 7.1 as internet Gateway Server. When i try
to add the module ip_nat_ftp. It gives the following error

Using /lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_nat_ftp.o
/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_nat_ftp.o: unresolved

/lib/modules/2.4.2-2/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_nat_ftp.o: unresolved

I know that i have to compile the kernel , by enabling Network Packet
Filtering, etc.

Can anybody tell me, how to compile the Kernel with new Options without
Losing my old Configuration.( ie. Both New and Old Configuration should
work).

Regards
Prem
