I wasn't considering a flood, just a prolonged string of events to leave a noticeble log on their system so they know I'm watching. Like a series of pings at the smallest bytes per packet I can do. Just a lot of them at a regular interval (1 a second ought to do very well, tho 1 per 2 seconds would be better) so it leaves a wide area in their logs to see the same ip address over and over again. *shrugs* Dennis ----- Original Message ----- From: "ABrady" <kcsmart@kc.rr.com> To: <security-discuss@linuxsecurity.com> Sent: Saturday, December 01, 2001 14:12 HRS Subject: Re: SMTP vulnerabilities > On Sat, 1 Dec 2001 13:12:24 -0900 > "Dennis Stout" <crazyman@rogershsa.com> implied: > > > Here's a question that has to do with mail, speaking of such things! > How do > > I find out who is sending me all the junk I get?
