Once it boots properly, he's got even more to complain. Some of them want it all ;-) When I try to 'shutdown -r now' it keep spinning on a lockword at 0058be04 that holds the value 800f8bc4. While that appears to point somewhere inside 's390_free_irq' the lockword looks to be in some allocated control block so I am wondering how to find my way back. Rob
