I have tested it, and it does work. wget seems to do something odd with the paths after the server name when you do this, though. You may have to what I did: RPMSERVER=ftp://userid:password@ftp.server.name//home/userid/pub/RedHat/linu x/rawhide/s390 Note the double slashes after the server name.
