[Redhat-s390-list] iucv parameter error

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,
Installing using the VM rdr files (latest copy from 05/04). If the updated
HOST= parameter for iucv is used, a parameter error is encountered

/lib/modules/2.2.19-0.07BOOTvrdr/misc/netiucv.o: invalid parameter
parm_netiucv
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
iucv0: unknown interface: No such device
SIOCSIFDSTADDR: No such device
iucv0: unknown interface: No such device
SIOCADDRT: No such device
SIOCADDRT: No such device

Eliminating the HOST= parameter from the PARM file causes the install to
ask the questions individually. The request for kernel iucv module options
indicates "(usually netiucv=HOST)". This is incorrect. It should read
"(usually iucv=HOST)".
If you enter iucv= the above error is not encountered.

Thanks,
