It would be interesting to know if deltarpm can deal with these kind of
packages but I kinda doubt that the support for large packages has been
implemented there yet.

Also deltarpm will still create the new package in the system before
installing it. So you actually need 3 times the size no matter whether
you use deltarpm or not: The new package, the old db and the new db.

So it might be necessary to not package the rpmdb at all.
