Do dependencies specified in .rpm file?

Hi

Do rpmbuild will embed list of dependencies, package info etc in .rpm file? how can I view it?

I tried extracting .rpm file with rpm2cpio and piping it to cpio but it just gives me package binary files etc and not any file related to package info and deplist ...
