Control-C in middle of a post installation script.

Here's the situation: Customer installing a package did not have their SSH set properly.  In the middle of the post install, a script was run that tried to access another machine.  A password request was displayed.  The customer did not want to give the root password and ^C, which ended up stopping the entire installation process and leaving the installation in an unusable state.

Should the rpm installation rollback?  How does rpm handle interrupts when configuration scripts are being run?

My guess is that the customer should have just <cr> until the request failed and let the installation continue.
