There is no %build or %install section. The only section is
%files -f %{name}.files
Missing %install section almost always means rpmbuild is being used
against its design, which in most cases results in it kicking and
screaming back all the way. That's most likely the case here as well.
If you can post your spec here/elsewhere online it'd be easier for
others to help.
