RPM too large?? > 2 GB

Hi list,

I was trying to build a huge RPM here, uncompressed source is 480 MB. I did the filelist and put on my spec file, when I  rpm -ba it, I got this :


    Package too large (> 2147483647 bytes)

I couldn' t even read the rest.

But I wonder why this happens, if my uncompressed tarball is "just" 480 MB, far from 2 GB I think.
