Re: _prefix hard-coded to /usr?

I am using it in the %post section. When I echo %{_prefix} from the %post section it shows up as /usr.

I will try the $RPM_INSTALL_PREFIX. Maybe that is the one I need. I will let you know.

How are you echo'ing %{_prefix}? If it is from inside your %post
script, does it show the correct value?

You could look into the $RPM_INSTALL_PREFIX variable.
