Expat causing rpm failure

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi everyone,

I, currently, am not able to use rpm as the expat library libexpat.so.0.5.0 has been accidentally deleted from the system. I, therefore, can’t use rpm to reinstall expat to fix the problem. I’m starting to feel like a dog chasing it’s own tail ;)

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to configure rpm to not use the expat (XML) library so that I can re-install expat and get past this issue.

Thanks heaps for any assistance.

Peter
