Thanks for the response.  I'm now closer to my goal.  This shows the
Distribution tag:

rpm -qp --qf '%{distribution}\n' *.rpm

However, the RPM filename doesn't have the {dist} tag.  What I'd like is:

foo-1.0-1-el5.x86_64.rpm
  instead of ...
foo-1.0-1.x86.64.rpm

Any ideas?
