How  large  ?  The  problem  in  rpm4.4.2.x.y.z  is that rpm can't handle file > 2Gb.

FYI : rpm5.org can and apparently also rpm4.6 (for Fedora10) also.

How many file ? I don't think the problem is this : I have build rpm (in rpm 4.4.2.x.y.z also) with 30000 files
