Updating db to 4.5.20 and rebuild rpm with the new db package doesn't solve it.

What can I do to solve this?

What platform?
$ uname -a
Linux phobos 2.6.17.13 #1 Tue Sep 19 00:33:59 CEST 2006 i686 pentium4 i386 GNU/Linux
What distro?
None. Or LFS if you want. But I doesn't call LFS distro. :-)

OK.

Internal or external Berkeley DB?
The external one from Oracle.
What flags were used to build Berkeley DB?
../dist/configure --prefix=%{_prefix} --enable-compat185 --enable-cxx

And the usual make and make install. _prefix is set to /usr. %optflags are "-O2 -g -march=i686".

In %prep I'm applying two patches.

http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/db/update/2.5.20/patch.2.5.20.1
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/db/update/2.5.20/patch.2.5.20.2

They are marked as required in the BLFS book.

Marcus
