ISO-accents in SPEC file comments triggers error

Hello, I'm using
RPM version 4.2.3

and today I spent 30 minutes trying to discover the bug that made RPM
think that my spec file wasn't one. I was constantly receiving the
following error message:
"... does not appear to be a specfile"

My error was that in one of the comments I used an ISO-accent.
The funny thing is, that RPM doesn't seem to have a problem with accents
in the %description section.

This bug was very hard to find, since the error message is not specific
at all.

IMHO accents should be allowed in comments so this is really a bug in RPM.
