low bandwidth/patch rpms... was dictionary-based RPM transfers

I could not find it on most of the "complete" mirrors

http://suse.osuosl.org/projects/deltarpm/

It seems spiffy from the readme.

Does it give you an RPM which can be installed?

or do you need to post process it at client side?

Thinking outloud again...

Client: contact server provide "rpm -Va", noted files

Server: generate "patch" rpms which include files noted as applies.

Server: return "patch" rpms

Client: install "patch" rpms [generate rpm from local sources and patch]

hmmm. me thinks. can this be done on a low memory footprint?
