Step away from the spec file. ;) You'd be better off assuming it can't be done, explaining to the list what it is you are actually trying to accomplish, and see what ideas come up. Really. Guess 1: You want to include more than one RPM package, but only want to give the user a single file? Answer 1: Use a dependency. Guess 2: You are doing this in the %install portion of the spec file, then packaging up the installed files? Answer 2: What are you, nuts? Clues: Never build an rpm as root. Rebuild from source. Consider rpm2cpio. Consider installing to the buildroot, and explicitly using an rpmdb in the buildroot. *shudder* HTH, Eli ps.
