How to modify an RPM

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings.

I have created a few dozen RPMs with the checkinstall utility
<http://asic-linux.com.mx/~izto/checkinstall/>. Afterwards I noticed that
I got some of the paths wrong -- that is, all files installed
to /usr/share/doc should actually have gone in /usr/share/doc/packages.
I'd rather not go to the trouble of recompiling all these packages to
build new RPMs. Is there any way of batch-editing the existing RPM files
to fix the paths?

Regards,
Tristan
