Well, there might be other methods, but this works fine for me. As I'm a RHEL3 rebuilder, I need a completely automated environment for (re)building large numbers of rpm's simultaneously and then this works fine. I also want separate directories for the generated SRPMS and RPMS, so that I scan these after the build for logging and recodring, and then a completely separated tree is the best. > > Buildroot has nothing to do with it, that's for installing software > > during the build process. > > Ah, yes, the buildroot is where the package will be built, indeed. No, it is where the built software is temporarily installed in the %install phase, that's something different (but maybe you meant the same). -- -- Jos Vos <jos@xxxxxx> -- X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV | Phone: +31 20 6938364 -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Fax: +31 20 6948204 _______________________________________________ Rpm-list mailing list Rpm-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rpm-list
