Hello I was trying to rebuild mjpetools, but couldnt : + /usr/lib/rpm/redhat/brp-compress + /usr/lib/rpm/redhat/brp-strip /usr/bin/strip + /usr/lib/rpm/redhat/brp-strip-static-archive /usr/bin/strip /usr/bin/strip: /mnt/other/BUILD/tmppath/mjpegtools-1.6.2-0.lvn.2-buildroot/usr/lib/stzXKaL1/libmjpegutils.a: Invalid operation /usr/bin/strip: /mnt/other/BUILD/tmppath/mjpegtools-1.6.2-0.lvn.2-buildroot/usr/lib/stXzsOG5/libmjpegutils.a: Invalid operation erreur: Mauvais status de sortie pour /mnt/other/BUILD/tmppath/rpm-tmp.63162 (%install) The srpm is available at http://rpm.livna.org/~anvil/mjpegtools-1.6.2-0.lvn.2.src.rpm The build log at http://rpm.livna.org/~anvil/rpm.log With a 'vanilla' configuration the package does rebuild correctly, but if in my ~/.rpmmacros i redefine _tmppath it doesnt work (with the above error). I have : "%_tmppath /mnt/other/BUILD/tmppath" and here's the directory : drwxrwxrwt 3 anvil anvil 4096 nov 11 14:21 /mnt/other/BUILD/tmppath The package also doesnt rebuild in mach. I've been able to reproduce this on Fedora Core 1 and 3. (didnt try on FC2). I must say that i'm completly lost here.
