Hello,

I have a RedHat Fedora version installed and i am trying to build a package with the "rpm" command" but I get the following error :
# rpm -ba test.spec
-ba: option iconnue
(means "unknown option" in english)

It looks like rpm does not know how to make a package.
Does anyone know something about this error ?

The following packages are installed on the station :
# rpm -q -a | grep -i rpm
rpm-python-4.3.1-0.3
rpm-4.3.1-0.3
rpm-devel-4.3.1-0.3
redhat-java-rpm-scripts-1.0.3-2
rpm-build-4.3.1-0.3
redhat-rpm-config-8.0.28-1.1.1

# uname -a
Linux castor 2.6.5-1.358 #1 Sat May 8 09:04:50 EDT 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

# which rpm /bin/rpm

# ls -l /bin/rpm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 rpm rpm 81280 avr 16 22:34 /bin/rpm
