Upon starting rpm, any options, I receive the following error messages and an immediate abort
rpm: loadlocale.c:221 _nl_load_locale:Asseration 'idx %__alignof__(u_int32_t)==0' failed.
I am running a SuSE 7.2 distro that has been running for over 2 years with a working rpm. At this time I have no idea of what has changed, although I suspect some data file has become corrupted. Any help as to how to proceed from here to isolate and repair the problem would be greatly appreciated.
