rpm interdependency between pam and coreutils in RH9

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

On Redhat 9.0, pam-0.75-48 requires fileutils, which is a part of
coreutils-4.5.3-19 for rh9 which in turn requires pam. Giving --nodep
option for pam did not help. How do I resolve this interdependency? Is
there a patch?

I am trying to install a set of rpms in a different repository (other than
/usr/src/redhat). Strangely though, I have both pam and coreutils (same
versions) installed correctly on the main repository when I installed RH
from CD. The sources I am using for the above install are also from the
CD.

Please help.
Thanks
PR
