Hello,
I did a good amount of research on this error and haven't found anything
that I can do to work around it. I'm trying to build a custom RPM of
postgresql and get the following error:
error: Failed build dependencies:
perl is needed by postgresql-7.4.1-1
tcl is needed by postgresql-7.4.1-1
I know both of those applications are there. I understand that this
probably means that the perl and tcl are not registered in RPM. However,
I don't understand why? This is a fresh install of Red Hat that has perl
and tcl installed from the initial install.
Can anyone tell me how to get around this message?
