All, I must have misunderstanding the way to use "rpmbuild --macros". I created a ~/.rpmmacros file with only one line: %_rpmdir /home/barry/linux This works fine. However, if i move this file to linux directory and trying to use "rpmbuild -bb --macros=/home/barry/linux/.rpmmacros specfile" then nothing taken from that file and using /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/software.rpm What did i do wrong?
