See if you have multiple versions of glib-devel on your machine: rpm -q glib-devel If you have multiple versions of any of the glib-* packages, then you'll have to do some package removal and, perhaps, reinstallation before things settle down. 2. Identify all copies of glib-config in your PATH: which --all glib-config Maybe there's a rogue copy somewhere. 3.
