Hi,

I have the following problems when I want to run the command: "play 
filename.au" :

1-sox: Sound card appears to only support 2 channels.  Overriding format

2-sox: Unable to set audio speed to 16000 (set to 48000)

Please let me know how I can fix them. The second one is more important for 
me, because when I want to use "festival" this problem is raised. I have 
fixed it in festival as a stand alone program but I need it as a server and 
my modifications do not work. By the way if you know how I can overcome 
these either under linux RedHat, festival 1.4.2, or both will be a great 
help.
