OPEC's June 11, 2003 meeting, Doha, Qatar
OPEC ministers meeting in Doha Wednesday took the
anticipated decision of leaving crude output quotas
unchanged for the time being, arranging to meet Jul 31 in
Vienna to review market conditions. In a statement issued
after the meeting, the cartel noted that oil prices had
risen recently due to "the slower-than-anticipated recovery
in Iraqi production, coupled with unusually low stock
levels."
