[Sound] Sound - Redhat 8.0 and KDE 3

Hi,

I installed RH8.0 with KDE 3 and Gnome

I have a=20

VIA Technologies - VT82C686 AC97 Audio Controller

on board using the via82cxxx_audio module.

Under Gnome it works perfectly but when I run KDE there is nothing. The s=
ound=20
card detection finds the module and the card but doesn't play any sound!

Any ideas?
