I see that the 2.5 kernel series has an Extigy mixer. In case anybody has been living in the closet, the Extigy is Creative's external USB soundcard that has been universally villified in the press. I find the internals and the sound out rather clean, though, despite its false advertising about maximum sample rate, etc.
Anyway, would Alan or anybody else know if there is a possibility that this mixer could be backported to the 2.4 kernel?
