It really depends on the make and model of your drive. You can do a 'smartctl -a /dev/hda' and see what attributes 201, 203, and 7 are. There is also a mailing list for smartmontools:Recengtly I noticed lines like the following appearing in my LogWatch. Can anyone expalin what these mean and should I start worrying?
