It looks like you have SMART (forgot the meaning of the acronym) reporting enabled in your BIOS. The system is reporting what it thinks is impending failure of a hard drive. 'Man smartd' jogged my memory. SMART = Self-Monitoring,Analysys and Reporting Technology.
