mmm OK.
it does not ping the messege is icmp destination host unreachable...
And I understand all other systems are able to ping each other.

The problem is there in ur firewall config. You have selected medium firewall for ur system. Please change it to Nofirewall and then try again.

Also if ur connecting to internet from ur Linux machine have a look at http://tldp.org for firewall howtos. man iptables is a good place to start building good firewall. Google for it and find more docs.
Is there something wrong with the installation. would reinstalltion help ??
You're in Linux and for most of the problems u face u don't have to reboot/reinstall the machine(except for some).
