I'm brand new to Linux. I have a socket 7 system on which I installed Red
Hat 9, clean and alone, but the installation reports an error in the USB
area.
I'm getting "USB HC TakeOver failed!"

My system shows $cat /proc/interrupts 17: IO-APIC-level usb-ohci
Since no interrupt is assigned, is your USB disabled in the bios?

Well, I've come back to this problem. Can I set the IRQ manually? How can I do that?
I've got to get this working somehow.
