it is the same track as the other EL products - a slightly reduced set
of software packages, some offered but not supported and many not up to
the version levels of RH 9/Fedora. It is neither going to be nor
intended to be cutting edge latest versions, it is designed to be
predictable, stable, functional and updatable and maintained.
