If you want to actually use the system for anything, forcing packages is
the completely wrong way to do it.  Forcing packages will just lead to a
broken system.

I would look into setting up a local yum repo from your CDs, that way you
can use yum to solve the depenencies for you.  After you get the network
working you can use yum or up2date to update the system.
