up2date up2date - SSL error - RH9

I am trying to update my version of Up2date so I can update a new 
install of RH9.

Error message:

# up2date up2date
There was an SSL error: [('SSL routines', 'SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE', 
'certificate verify failed')]
A common cause of this error is the system time being incorrect. Verify 
that the time on this system is correct.


I am not sure how to change the time on the system. It is a remote 
machine with command line only access.
